2015 Presenter: Wayde Sick

2015 ND Downtown Conference Presenter Wayde Sick currently works with the FIND THE GOOD LIFE IN ND Initiative encouraging workers to bring their talents to North Dakota.

BIO: WaydAVSimplePageDrawerView 8242015 112315 AM.bmpe Sick is the Director of Workforce Development at the North Dakota Department of Commerce. Wayde is responsible for carrying out activities that support and promote efforts to meet North Dakota’s workforce needs.  In his position he is also the director of the federally mandated State Commission on National and Community Service that oversees the administration of the Federal AmeriCorps program.  Prior to working at Commerce, Wayde has 12 years of experience in the education field as an instructor and administrator at the Burdick Job Corps Center in Minot and the School Director at the Missouri Valley Montessori School in Bismarck. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Education and Master’s in Management, both from Minot State University.
