The 8th Annual North Dakota Downtown Conference will be held this fall in Grand Forks and the Grand Cities Area. Tours, national speakers, breakout session and networking–this is the premier event for downtown specific development in the region. Attendees include representatives from every size downtown, economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, government and civic leaders, architects, private development companies, Downtown stakeholders and more.
Goals of the Conference
- Educate Downtown stakeholders on the positive impacts of healthy Downtowns including but not limited to: economic impact, tax efficiencies, community sustainability, affordable housing, mixed used planning, civic participation, community’s sense of place, and historic preservation.
- Provide a forum for Downtown Stakeholders to learn about revitalization programs, successful Downtown community programs, and action steps in forming Downtown revitalization groups and efforts.
